Reveal Names Seasoned Defense and Space Industry Executive, Matthew Mejía, as Chief Financial Officer

Experienced finance leader joins Reveal as company continues to aggressively scale its technology, operations, and support for the national security mission.

Bozeman, Montana — Today, Reveal Technology, a defense company dedicated to building mission software to help modernize the warrior, announced it has named Matthew Mejía as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Mejía comes to Reveal following an extensive career in the aerospace, defense, and space industries, having served in senior posts at Meridian Space, Sierra Space, and Aerion Supersonic. His background as a highly sought-after mergers and acquisitions advisor and investor during his time building Renaissance Strategic Advisors led him to spend more than a decade advising some of the nation’s largest private equity, venture capital, defense primes, and high-growth companies.

As CFO, Mejía will lead Reveal’s finance team and help guide the company through its next phase of growth. He will oversee financial strategy, planning and analysis, accounting, capital allocation, and other corporate finance functions as Reveal continues to scale its operations and build technologies designed for the modern battlefield.

“Reveal is at an important point in its growth, and Matthew brings the financial leadership experience and strategic foresight to help us scale,” said Garrett Smith, co-founder and CEO of Reveal Technology. “We are building powerful, usable software and getting it into the hands of the American warrior as quickly as possible. Matthew understands both the responsibility that comes with that critical mission and also understands what it takes to build an enduring company capable of delivering for the National Defense for decades to come.”

"Reveal has built an exceptional company dedicated to modernizing the tools and capabilities of the nation's most critical resource, our warfighters,” said Matthew Mejía, Chief Financial Officer of Reveal Technology. “As we scale and meet the growing demands of our government and allied partners, we will continue to aggressively invest in the people that make up this great team and the solutions that deliver for our customers. I’m thrilled and humbled to join Garrett and the whole Reveal family at this exciting time for the company.”

Mejía’s appointment follows a period of significant momentum for Reveal. In 2025, the company announced a $30 million Series B financing led by Ballistic Ventures, supporting continued investment in its technology and expansion across the defense and national security market.
